Willow Tree Learning Community
Dear Friends, We are raising funds for the Sierra Club this Endangered Species Day!
We transplanted some beautiful plants to sell in the Willow Tree "nursery" but instead of putting the funds towards an ice cream party, the kids voted to donate the sales to Sierra Club. We decided to sell our little plants to help the planet. Everyday habitat loss is affecting the survival of the beautiful creatures that we share this planet with. Some of the species that the kids are concerned about are anaconda's, elephants, black jaguars, cheetahs, orca's and dolphins, salmon, the little bee's and the lovely great apes. Joining forces with bigger groups trying to preserve what we have left is one way we can help.
The funds that get donated will enable the Sierra Club to do things like:
• Protect our wildlife and the wild lands they inhabit
• Transition our cities to 100% clean energy so growing lungs can breathe clean air
• Make the outdoors accessible for all of us, so that one day our kids can experience these beautiful places with their children too
Our team goal is to try and raise $150. We are wanting to help #TeamSierra raise a total of $5,000 in honor of vulnerable species. Will you help by making a donation?
Thanks so much!
Willow Tree
