Stand Up and Give Back: Colorado Start My Journey

Experience Colorado in a new way while giving back to the very places you're exploring!

Join Team Sierra and Sierra Club Outings for the first-ever fundraising service and adventure trip!

Summit County Colorado is home to great ski areas, but in the summer it is known for its quaint, friendly towns and hiking!  Experience hiking at altitude as we take in views from high alpine forests and meadows.

All of this magnificent wilderness would not be possible without the support and caring of an organization like the Sierra Club and the Friends of the Dillion Ranger District.  We will do a wilderness project with the Friends of the Dillion Range District, an organization at the forefront of preservation in this area.

There is no better way to enjoy the Colorado Rivers meandering then from a stand-up paddle-board. The canyons, wildlife, and river will offer challenge and serenity at the same time.

This trip will be a fantastic mix of work and play.  Come along and see for yourself.

It's clear that the climate crisis is not just one of the greatest threats we face: it's already impacting the people and places we love. Our air, water, and home are threatened — and it's time to act.

Luckily, we know that Team Sierra teammates thrive on big goals and meaningful work. In 3 short years, we've raised over $1 million dollars to support the Sierra Club and its work protecting wildlife and wild places, advancing clean energy solutions, and making the outdoors more accessible.

When you join Team Sierra, you'll be assigned a personal fundraising coach who can help you come up with a plan that works for you. The money you raise includes the trip costs and supports Sierra Club initiatives to retire dirty coal plants, make the outdoors more accessible for everyone, and commit cities to 100% renewable energy. You can learn more about the programs you'll support here.

Individual Fundraising Requirement: $975
Group Fundraising Requirement (2 Participants): $1,800
