I am very excited to be running the Yosemite Half Marathon on May 13th with Team Sierra, but I need your help! If you like the Earth, and realistically you should like few things more than the only planet known to support human life, then you too should be excited!
Because you can help me meet my goal of raising $1,000 for the Sierra Club! Here are some things your donation will help the Sierra Club do:
• Provide cleaner, cheaper, energy.
• Protect our land, water, and air – from our backyards to the other side of the globe.
• Save animals being threatened with extinction.
• Make the outdoors accessible for all of us.
Alternately, if you just want to know that some part of your hard-earned cash could ensure that I would put myself through earnest exercise, heavy wheezing, and muscle cramps, that is also a reasonable impetus to donate.
The Sierra Club does amazing things in places we all love and care about, and I can't think of an organization I'd be happier to support in this way. I would be rapturously grateful and even more delighted if you would support them too!
By supporting me.
By donating, even a little, on this page.
Every little bit helps!*
If you'd like to learn more about the Sierra Club, their mission, and how important and fantastic they are, visit sierraclub.org, or participate in their campaigns at addup.org!
Thank you so, so much! You are all angels of environmental mercy!
P.S. Did you know that Sierra Club has been saving our environment for the last 125 years? That's almost as long as Keith Richards has been abusing illegal substances! That's a long time! And they need our help to keep going (more than Keith ever has)!
